Warded Path is a field technician for the Zeitgeist Research Department. Not an academic herself, her role is mainly to accompany academics on field trips, drive the vehicles, look after the equipment, and try to stop the academics from getting themselves killed. This is frequently more difficult than it should be. She is attached to the Endeavour as part of the faculty staff.
